D&D Sirotić

In the small village of Medveje, there are three family wineries, one of which is D&D Sirotić, run by a father and son — both named Dario. The winemaking tradition in their family is over 150 years old, with the wine cellar still located in the same house as always. Due to the unique terrain configuration, their vineyards are planted on terraces with deep white marl soil, situated at altitudes ranging from 160 to 240 meters above sea level. Today, they cultivate three hectares of vineyards, growing Istrian Malvazija, Teran, Muscat Blanc, and Chardonnay — which has shown excellent results in this continental part of Istria. The Sirotić family has won numerous awards at various national and international competitions for their wines, and they are currently present on the market with five wine labels. Next to their cellar, they also have an elegant tasting room set in the deep shade of their centuries-old house.
